HDC Home Mortgage Payments
Home owners who obtained a mortgage from the Trinidad and Tobago Housing Development Corporation prior to 2002 are required to make monthly payments directly to the HDC. Mortgages obtained through the Trinidad and Tobago Mortgage Finance Corporation (TTMF) from 2002 onward are paid to the TTMF and not the HDC.
How can I pay my mortgage?
Mortgage payments payable to the HDC are due on the first of each month and can be made using the following methods:
By cash, Linx (debit card), or cheques paid to the cashier at any HDC office that offers a cashier service, between the hours of 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday except public holidays. Please note that personal cheques over TT$5,000.00 will not be accepted. Follow the link at the end of this section to see a list of HDC office locations.
By standing order from the mortgagee's bank.
By salary deduction (for government employees only).
A Trinidad and Tobago Housing Development Corporation account number and the last payment receipt must be presented when making payments at an HDC office.
