Managed by the Licensing Division, it provides documentation that protects the rights of both previous and new owners.

Standard Transfer: Sale or gifting of a vehicle
Transfer on Death: Change of ownership following the registered owner’s passing

Buyer and seller must be present (for standard transfers)
Next of kin or executor may apply in case of death

Step 2: Gather Required Documents
Collect your ID, vehicle documents, and any additional documents depending on the type of transfer.
Step 3: Visit the Licensing Division Together
For standard transfers, both buyer and seller must be present at the Licensing Office.
Step 4: Submit Documents and Pay Transfer Fees
Present your documents and make the necessary payment.
Step 5: Receive Updated Ownership Documents
You’ll be issued official documentation confirming the new owner of the vehicle.
